Gaurav VAGHELA received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Proudhyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya Bhopal, in 2013 and his M.Tech. in Environmental Engineering from SGSITS, Indore in 2015. After M.Tech.he has worked as a project associate at IIT Kanpur in NMCG funded project under Prof. Vinod Tare, the project entitled Urban River Management Plan in 2015, at IIT Delhi as JRF in DST funded project in 2018, and at IIT Gandhinagar as JRF in IIT Kanpur funded project in 2019. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Water treatment and Desalination. He is outgoing, social, and adventurous and has excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and likes to overcome challenges.

Shubham Ketan SHARMA received his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Indraprastha Engineering College in 2018 with a B.Tech (Hons.) degree and his Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur in 2021. He has cleared the GATE examination in 2019 and has received a degree of "Gold Medalist in Environmental Engineering". He has worked on E-waste management and resource recovery as a part of his master's thesis. His research interest includes adsorption of metals from aqueous and brine solutions, membrane-based technologies, advanced oxidation process, treatment of landfill leachate, resource recovery and urban mining. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in desalination and water treatment.

Longjam Riccirani Chanu, an enthusiastic learner yearning to explore more knowledge related to her course specialization for future research and development. She received her Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from NIT Manipur, in the year 2020 and her Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST), Arunachal Pradesh, in the year 2022. Ms. Longjam is currently pursuing PhD from Centre for Nanotechnology, IIT Roorkee.

SAMRIDDHI SHARMA received her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, in 2018 with a B.Tech (Hons.) degree and her M.Tech. in Environmental Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur in 2022. She has worked on “Tannery Wastewater Treatment” as a part of her M.tech thesis. Her research interests include water and wastewater treatment using membrane and desalination.

Proneeta Uttam received completed B.Tech in civil engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, in 2018 and M.Tech in Fluid Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad in 2023. Her M.Tech thesis was on "Numerical simulation of multiphase flow problem solving using VOF and CLSVOF method". Presently Ms. Proneeta is pursuing her Ph.D in desalination and water treatment.

Akshay is a mechanical engineer from Sant longowal Institute of engineering and technology and pursued M.tech in Thermal Engineering from NIT Hamirpur in 2022.  He has worked on the Renewable enegy as solar air heater in his MTech thesis.In continuation to his studies, he joined the lab in July 2022 and would be working on Ion exchange membrane synthesis followed by the stack development of high temperature PEM fuel cells. Akshay is fond of playing football and cricket.

In June 2020, Anjali Pundir earned her Bachelor's degree with Honours in Environmental Sciences, followed by a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences in June 2022, both from Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalya (DSVV) Haridwar. Anjali received Gold Medal for her outstanding performance in M.Sc. Environmental Sciences. She successfully cleared the UGC NET (Environmental Sciences) examination in December 2022. Currently, Anjali is pursuing her Ph.D. from Centre for Nanotechnology, IIT Roorkee under the guidance of Dr. Bhaskar Jyoti Deka. Her doctoral research focuses on areas such as air purification and the development of nanocomposite membranes. 

Shruti Gautam received her bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Dayalbagh Education Institute in 2021 and her Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur in 2023. She has cleared the GATE examination in 2021 and has the knowledge of several software like AutoCAD, Stand Pro, Revit, Comsol Multiphysics, Ansys Fluent. During her bachelor's she did the designing and analysing the G+3 storey building and the rain water harvesting tanks. She worked in the field of Computation Fluid Dynamics during her master's.

Currently, Shruti is pursuing her PhD in the Department of Hydrology under the guidance of Prof. Bhaskar Jyoti Deka from IIT Roorkee and her work of interest is the treatment of water by using membrane technology.

Poonam pursued her B.Tech in Civil Engineering from the Women  Institute of Technology, Dehradun, in 2019. Following this, she completed her M.Tech in Water Resource and Environmental Engineering from IIT Ropar. Her professional journey includes serving as an Assistant Environment Engineer at Nimbua Greenfield (Punjab) Association for nine months and later, a tenure as a Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Water Resources Development and Management at IIT Roorkee for ten months. During her JRF, she honed her skills in research, conducted field visits, and conducted water quality and soil analyses. Currently, Poonam is actively engaged as a Ph.D. research scholar in the Department of Hydrology at IIT Roorkee, focusing on membrane-based technology for water and wastewater treatment under the supervision of Dr. Bhaskar Jyoti Deka. This underscores her commitment to cutting-edge research and sustainable solutions in her field of expertise.
