Akshit Pushkar
Mr. Akshit received bachelors in Civil Engineering from GBPATU, Pant nagar, Uttarakhand, India. He joined the Department of Hydrology, IIT Roorkee, India for postgraduation in 2020. During research work under Prof. Deka at IIT Roorkee, Mr. Akshit learned and developed innovative membranes for desalination application and completed his postgraduation with honors, filed two patents and drafted scientific article (for reputed journal) based on research findings. Mr. Akshit received job offer from AECOM, India through campus placement.
Priya Sonkar
Priya Sonkar completed her Master's degree from the Department of Hydrology. Her research interest includes membrane fabrication, optimization of forward osmosis process.
Mohammad Sahil
Mohammad Sahil completed his Master's degree from Department of Hydrology. His research interest includes resolving wetting issues in hydrophobic membrane, Membrane distillation.
Yahaya Yahaya Kassimu
Mr. Yahaya recived his Bachelor of Science in Irrigation and water resource engineering from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania in 2014. He is working with Rufiji Basin Water Basin under Ministry of Water (Government Institution) as Water Engineer since 2015. Mr. Yahaya has completed one year M.Tech research work on title "Maize Stem Derived Bioadsorbent for Manganese Removal: From Agricultural Waste to Water Remediation" under the supervision of Prof. Bhaskar Jyoti Deka
Begraj Singh
Mr. Begraj received his Bachelor in Civil Engineering from The Institution of Engineers, India. He is working with Irrigation Department of Uttarakhand, India (Government Institution) as Additional Assistant Engineer since 2013. Mr. Begraj has completed one year M.Tech research work on title "Green Technologies for Leachate Management: Ferrate Oxidation and Advanced Membrane Filtration" under the supervision of Prof. Bhaskar Jyoti Deka
